So I have this neat P6NP5 (rev 1.2) board. And it came with 4x32MB memsticks, which unfortunately are FPM modules. Fine with me i thought, i have plenty of large EDO sticks. Does this driver or utility let me to overclock the vram to 200MHz instead of 183MHz? The vram is Samsung 5ns, full 128bits. That through hole solder holes are for Dell's PSU pinout using two plug connectors, not populated. Go ahead and power up with normal ATX PSU and a video card, and a Pentium Pro processor. Cheers, I believe he means the missing components in the first picture. Definitely not left out by purpose =)

ABIT BP6 should be able to run 2x Mendocino at 550Mhz (5.5x100). That should be sufficient for games up to 1999. Problem is that most games of this era runs in Windows 98, which doesn't even know about the second cpu. I ran Windows 2000 (and XP IIRC) for some time with that exact configuration …

Found out why my PR440FX with 2x blacktop ppros shuts down ungracefully when i run Quake3 with SMP=1. My bench PSU don't have enough oomph on +5v to run it! (Corsair AX760 with 25A on +5v). Enter an old Chieftek and everything is fine again.

AFAIK the K6's are not as rugged as the Intel offerings. So I wouldn't try 2.8v on one. Besides, if your (OEM) MB didn't have one as option there's a slim to no chance that the BIOS will support it. So the most I would try is an 233 MMX.

While making fan cables to my cool new CPU coolers on my PR440FX I couldn't help myself and started playing with it. And while looking for a suitable case I found and old Plextor Plexwriter CDRW hiding in one of my stored chassis. A nice bonus indeed!

Any reason you couldn't just plug a regular ATX PSU into this thing? I mean this is much neater then the usual (mess of wires) converters we use.
