Got this TX97-X rev 2.04 with this odd problem. Any single plane CPU, regular Pentiums, K5's etc, work just fine. But if the CPU want dualplane voltages, no go. No POST, no beeps, no nothing ! Yes, I got it to post but It will only run at 66mhz x 5.5 for 333mhz. I am using a K6-3+450mhz CPU. With a 2.2v. Core and 3.3v I/O. What am I doing wrong? Why won’t it post with 100mhz CPU external bus frequency ? Only 66mhz appears to work. Not saying that it is. But bad caps could very well be …

Well the motherboard manual reads it accepts 128mb and 256mb DIMM's. I tried some PC-100 ram. I don't know the amount but it could not have been more than 128mb sticks.
