I've tried a number of cards in my CUBX-E machine, off the top of my head: 5900XT - perfect 6800XT - crashes TI4200 - perfect 440MX - crashes Voodoo 3 - perfect I'm sure I've used others but that's what I can remember for sure right now.

I just bought this, it's a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. My 1990 C1500 truck has become very rotten around the cab corners and has developed some serious electrical gremlins this year, so it was time for a change. Hopefully this thing is a bit more fuel efficient too.

well, there's plenty of actual 100mhz options out there - slot 1 p3 1000, s370 p3 1100 on a slocket or modded tualatin 1050/tualeron 1400, and the memory situation is slightly mitigated by the fact that 133mhz RAM will usually automatically run at better timings@100mhz. but it's up to you of course …

IMO possible system instability is the only "risk". My main retro rig is CUBX-E with a 1.4ghz Tualatin P3-S (133 FSB) and it's rock solid with a 5900XT and unstable with a 6800XT.
