@divideBYzero I've done the same on my WeeCee and can confirm identical behaviour on my end too. Man for whatever 98SE just really hates this SD card slot!

@Paul_V I've got a 16GB SD card on the way so I'll see if that works when it arrives. hmm... I haven't tried 32GB actually, only 64GB and 128GB (and they both show up as 24.9GB). I'll try 32GB too when I can get one.

What do you think the odds are that ICOP or DMP will actually help and provide a fix for the incorrect SD card size issue? It's been about 10 years since the last BIOS update, would they still provide support?

@Eivind Sorry, I meant to say WeeCee! I thought I wrote WeeCee there but it must have slipped my mind. I've notice that the WeeCee's AMIBIOS reports the SD card size wrong, it shows up as 24.9GB in the BIOS as well as in XP's installer. It's my theory that this is the cause of the Yellow exclamation …

@Eivind I can't recall if I've already asked this, sorry if I already have. Does the tinyllama have the same issue with it's SD card slot getting the SD card size wrong? also, have you benchmarked a 2.5 inch SSD on this? how fast can it go?

I'd say use an SSD over a CF card since they're faster and cheaper than CF cards. Also, if more than 128GB then use rloew's TBPLUS - https://rloewelectronics.com/distribute/TBPLUS/3.0/

@rasteri If you've got the time, hook up an IDE to SATA adapter and try out an SSD. Curious to see how fast it'll go. Also, If 137GB+ size is a problem just use rloew's TBPLUS and that'll fix it.

@rasteri My theory is it has something to do with the BIOS reporting the SD card size wrong, even XP has the issue and that's a supported OS. Can you see if you can bug ICOP about possibly getting a BIOS update to fix this? I tried asking them earlier but they wouldn't talk to me since they asked …

Doing some surface level research on the SM750 PCI device ID - PCI\VEN_126F&DEV_0750 There doesn't seem to be VXD model driver out there for this chip as far as I can tell, so for 98SE you would need to use VBEMP9X to get access to higher resolutions, and no 3D of course.
