There are two devices I am interested in. The Voodoo Lab Ground Control and the Rocktron Patchmate. Ground Control has a 7 pin out and a 5 pin in, the Patchmate has a 5 pin out and a 7 pin in. Can you tell the pin outs?

What I've gathered is that for MIDI connections that do not have a MIDI sync connector there is a metronome signal that is available in MPU-401 intelligent mode that is not available in UART mode. How many games generate this metronome signal?

Was MCI (media control interface) available on DOS? This was for watching video. Wave Out? ASIO, as part of the operating system? Vesa local bus, was it an interface in DOS as well as a bus? Same with MCP? Also, was there a MPU-401 or UART interface in DOS?
