i Replaced the PCB with the motor of the tray with one from ASUS DRW-1608P3S. It will not eject. Should I try replacing the belt? I seen that the switch that dictates the load/eject position works. What it can be?

Today I found a AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1.8GHz FSB 266MHz CPU with Thorton core and a Spire CPU Cooler for Socket A with a copper base. Any opinions? I plan to use this CPU on a ASUS A7N8X-X machine.

Update! The laser works, but it won't open the tray. I think about replacing the motor PCB with one from a similar drive, the ASUS DRW-1608P3S, to this DRW-1608P. They look almost same.

So. any opinions after 1 month?. I tried anything, reseated ribbons, maybe it needs cleaning from rain or something? Because I believe that the mailman transported it improperly. Also I seen some caps on the board of the optical drive. Should I replace them?

Today I got 4 sticks of GeIL Value DDR400 (PC3200) 512MB RAM (total 2 GB) with blue heatsinks. 2 sticks have CL2.5-8-4-4 timings and the other 2 have CL2.5-6-3-3 timings. 2 512MB RAM sticks belong to a Dual Channel Kit, and the other 2 sticks are independently. Any opinions?
