when you buy a scrap lot with a bunch of motherboards and cards that also includes drives and power supplies... and you ask the seller real nicely to pack them in a way that the heavy parts can't move around and smash the other bits because I am a collector... package arrived today totally smashed …

I would stick to the terratec cards simply because of the aluminium front panel aesthetics, simple reason why I got a DMX6fire is cause I want to stick it in a Lian Li ^^ and yeah can always add another card for more features/better DOS compatibility

when you say MP4 do you mean H.264 as the current standard in 2020. Or do you mean MP4 as in the many non standardized early implementations. mp4 is a container format, it can contain a mpeg2 or mpeg1 video stream for example, so yeah, codec would be more relevant ^^ but I assume that is what was …

there's already a thread about it here on vogons: FIC PA-2013 Ver 2.1 and Voodoo3 3000 AGP probably just an undersized voltage regulator that runs a risk of burning out on more demanding cards or something like that? ... pretty unnecessary on ATX anyways.

I never noticed the cursor thing actually, it seems like my browser settings don't even allow that, though I am not sure what setting or add-on that might be, enabling or disabling javascript doesn't change it.

10ns sram does exist according to datasheets of other types ^^ the fastest I have is 12ns, and the datasheet for IS61C1024 also states 12ns as the fastest variant so I'd assume they're fake.

the best? probably not. but ebay is the easiest way to get old hardware where I'm from at least, local classifieds are pretty scarce, and dumpster diving is impossible.
