well 8MB versions also have chips on the back, just 4 of 12 that is ^^ but I guess you meant they have all of them.

if all chips are populated that's 12MB, on the 8MB version 8 chips on the backside would be missing and just have empty pads. so the one you can see the back of is 12MB, I'd assume that means the other one is too, but can't be 100% sure without seeing it's back too.

anyone else having issues with ebay atm.? I can't checkout on any auction, I just get greeted by an error message and try again... have tried on my phone, different browser etc. no dice.

that's some nice stuff :3 I bought one of my dream computers today... finally after years, will have to wait a bit for it to show up though probably and I hope it won't need too many repairs, if any, cause parts ain't easy to come by on this part of the globe ^^

They made 21" trinitron versions of the translucent colored mac range? That's so cool. sure seems like they did ^^ unfortunately there's not much to see inside like in the later flat CRT models, because the whole tube and electronics are covered in a metal shell inside. still looks very neat... …
