You can try to overclock a 250MHz version with 4ns RAM to 275MHz. In the most cases you should be successful. There are some 250MHz cards with 3.6ns RAM which should surely fit the 275MHz. The Radeon 8500 @275MHz takes the most advantage from the higher Clock to the GF3 Ti500 @250MHz. The performance relevant features (shaders and pipes) are nearly equal. But your 8500DV runs normally @200MHz. So a GF3 should be faster.
