Nice! I have the Dell 333P - really love that style of case 😀 I hope the battery leak hasn't affected any of the traces to the keyboard ps/2 port as they'd be under where the battery used to sit. My battery leaked too but luckily didn't affect anything.

It subsequently stopped working again and I haven't had a chance to fix it. I'll try glue it at some stage but I was half hoping someone from the 3DO scene would be able to knock up some replacements for that which I could buy 😀

These are really cool 😀 I don't think I ever owned a case that had a domed badge like this though as all mine were Dell or Gateway 2000 machines. Has anyone ever found a good source for scans of 'Intel Inside' stickers? I want to recreate the red one for an old Dell 486...

Yeah I love those Allsop ones too! I still have one from 1995 or so (that's looking fairly tatty and gross to be honest) but was surprised to see them still for sale as xjas said, so stocked up on a few more.

This any use? Found a disk for DOS/Windows and another one for MAC. Both saved as .IMA images. My phone is terrible so I can't take photos of the disks, so I typed the label text out (more or less) into .txt files. If a single gameport supports two joysticks, why do those old addon ISA cards have two gameports on them? to avoid needing to use a splitter?

Hi, It's not connected on mine but I just remembered I had a different motherboard in that case a few years back.. Anyway, it looks like a fan sensor line for the fan in the power supply. Cool! I thiiink a friend of mine had one of these towers (in fact, I believe I have the tape backup drive that was in that machine).. I also love Gateway 2000s and have a few myself, including the pentium model the same as Katmai500.

My manual is up in the attic I think... But the procedure you're doing sounds right. I got an XT-IDE board recently for use with a CF card and couldn't use the Amstrad disks to work at all. Would always fail on the format part. Eventually tried DOS 6.22 and this worked without issue.
