Did they maybe buy faulty cards for resale to make a profit..? I don't know.. Their problem was store policy. If something failed they automatically blamed the buyer. They refused warranty claims if the hardware was installed by the buyer and not by them. It was total BS but many unfortunate owners …

A friend of mine rescued this BD-RW from the local e-waste collection depo. It didn't turn on because of a tiny blown diode but after replacing it the drive works just fine. A little rusty but nothing serious. My first blu-ray drive.

Those adapters are often more expensive than the board itself. The dual-slot1 seems to be the better choice.

Are there 64bit PCI VGA adapters? Isn't the Radeon 7500 PCI much faster than the V5 5500 PCI? The Radeon is also cheap and readily available.

Isn't the dual 370 more overclockable? Good points. No AGP and no ISA on the 370 board.

Guess I'll get this too. Will my s478 Willamette CPUs work with this adapter? I have most of them from 1.4 - 2.0 (Pentiums and Celerons).

It comes with a Willamette 1.4 and 2x128 MB RAM. I have more options though so that's not a problem. I'll play a lot with this one.
