3.3v, I did connect it to 5v at one point but it didn't seem to make a big difference. But please do share your idea. I did not test it that much. It seems like the messages are not interpreted correctly. I also suspect the waveform might not be good. I may have an idea. Is the 74HCT14N connected to 5V or 3.3V on your board?

It shouldn't drop notes. I didn't see any dropped notes on my setup. Can you upload the MIDI file and tell me what player you use? Maybe I can recreate the same thing on my computer. But I don't use the same circuit for MIDI that you use. Also, do you use Munt or the PRO7USE soundfont?

You sure you disabled the serial console? It sounds like the same problem I had when the console was enabled. You don't have access to an oscilloscope, do you?

I finally updated the 3D model of the cover. The new LCD is a lot bigger than the old one so it takes almost all of the space. I also added a mount for the Pi. It just snaps into place without screws. The 3D model already has supports for the mount implemented. After printing you have to remove the …

I got a quick question regarding the Wavetable header. I tried using the MIDI from the header but I can't seem to get it to work. Is MIDI simultaneously output on the Wavetable header and the game port or is a config needed for that?

Awesome! Glad to see everything is working. I finally got my buttons so I can extend the code to support changing the profiles via external buttons. Probably will do that this weekend.

The only problem I see is that the normal I2C adapters one row of 16 pins. These LCDs have 2x8 pins though...

I finally found the time to work on the script. I changed some things back as you suggested and implemented the ability to change presets via SysEx message back into the script. Now I'm waiting for some push switches to arrive so I can implement changing presets and volume via the switches.
