I can still access files on a USB flash drive using the NEC device. Is there a way to tell hwinfo not to probe USB? Basic functionality probably works but the driver doesn't seem to properly handle additional query functions, it should in no way cause a BSOD when an application queries it. …

I think this is some problem in the USB Host Controller driver as both HWiNFO and AIDA64 use standard Windows USB stack calls to enumerate USB device.
