In my opinion the PowerVR version looks and plays superior to the 3DFX/Glide version. Both systems are fine for that card. There are a couple of late Glide games from the turn of he century which could benefit from a faster CPU. Notable examples would be Diablo 2 and Deus Ex. But those are exceptions, not the norm.
