Result - not PT880 chipset, this does mention AGI, PCIe x4 mode. PCIe x4 is actually chipset limitation of PT880, unfortunatelly. But it is certfied PCIe solution. Since AGP slot is not universal, you will not be able to physically fit old AGP card to AGP 3.0 slot because nothces do not match. …

Performance wise ... Asus, because of 128-bit memory interface. Not sure about 3D Studio Max though. I guess GeForce2 era Quadro would better suit that scenario.

On XT, it's 2.5ns Hynix usually. So, 1000/2.5=400 => 800MHz DDR max in theory. Non-Ultra should be 2.2ns Hynix, so 900MHz max. I can check timings later tonight.
