That is strange . AFAICR, that game runs well even on modern versions of Windows . A spontaneous reboot under load could point to a PSU issue . Do other games run without issue ? Installed on my PIII 550, running on an ASUS P3B-F motherboard, Audigy 1 sound card, 512MB RAM, ASUS TNT2 Ultra, running Win98SE. The game locks up on the intro movie with the paramount logo. I have tried several different versions of detonator drivers, but all seem to have the same effect.

I have a floppy drive that occasionally has issues reading disks. I have determined if I manually advance the drive heads forward, it reads fine. Looks like there is a sensor that detects when the heads are all the way back. If that sensor is interrupted, it seems like the drive will not detect a …

It was my understanding Win98 could see drives up to about 127GB. Edit: This is on a ASUS A7V board and the BIOS auto detects it fine.
