In this post where i looked at bunch of mobos + POD100 there is a note for M919: IDE driver version 3.2 and /D0:17 /MM0 /F0 flags. L1 cache in WT mode since motherboard does not have proper support for P24T. Only for P24D (L1 WT). Ark1000VL didn't work at all. S3 Trio64 was the second best VLB …

Anyone have the jumper settings for POD on the m919? I keep getting HIMEM errors @100MHz on a known 100MHz capable cpu. I think I’m setting voltage correctly. As it does need at least 4v on other boards I’ve used it in. 83MHz is fine. L1 cache is stuck in WT if that is any indicator.

Guys! Been digging through all the old manuals my Dad saved from back in the day. Apparently I had a Biostar UUD in my custom 486 build. That machine was lost long ago unfortunately, very cool to find this though.

Cannot advise. My rule of thumb (as mentioned before) is - for DOS stuff - first partition is 512Mb - life is easier that way. I heard from others saying that 8Gb SD card increases the chance of things working with bigger DOS partitions on some of the more prickly old hardware. But the whole drive …

Might have to pour one out for this Voodoo4, no amount of fiddling with bus speed, pci slot, or memory slot, seems to be lighting up. At least on this m919.

Could the voodoo 4 be over drawing current on the board causing your issues? I'm also wondering since the voodoo 3 and 4 both require a newer version of the PCI bus than your m919 that can cause weirdness as well. For sure power draw or chipset issues could be it. Would of been cool to see it …
