Would a 200MHZ Pentium handle running a game from Dameon Tools or would this be too CPU intensive and cause slowdown?
D3D GPU’s capable of 320x240 ish resolutions?

On a bit of a quest to find graphics cards that work well on slower pentium machines. I’ve noticed in some situations my Diamond Stealth S220(Rendition v2100) performs a bit better than a voodoo on a POD100 because it can render at 320x200 or 320x240. What other GPU’s might I find that would perform …

Thanks Gona! I’m using my S220 on a POD100 so I’m definitely interested if a v1000 board might eek out a few more frames in vQuake, running at the lowest resolutions. Now I just need to find a v1000 based board.

What are the faster clocked V2200 boards? I have the Diamond S220 flashed to the later 2200 bios but I’m assuming there are still faster boards out there.

Not sure what’s changed but noticed I’m seeing a consistent 37.1 now in vQuake. Lowest resolution, one tick away from full screen, no sound. Version 1.08.

Anyone else have this issue? If I’m moving a mouse, connected to the onboard ps/2 port, while simultaneously typing, I lose all input control. The most common scenario being gaming. A reboot is required to resolve. I’ve got the V2 board if it makes a difference. Thankfully I have a PS/2 ISA adapter …

My POD has been running absolutely rock solid at 100Mhz, thanks to the info in this thread. Has anyone had any luck with posting at a bus speed setting of 50Mhz? Would there be a way to get something in between 40-50Mhz , to try and push the speed just a bit higher?

Anyone know what this options does specifically for Duke Nukem 3D? Obviously some type of optimization for Tseng based graphics card. Curious what those optimizations might be. If it’s performance related or otherwise.
