Curious which motherboard. Have seen AGP 2.0/3.0 slots on ebay which are good for 4x/8x or 2x cards that support 1.5v for cheap. Will try to dig out my one board with Universal but doubt there is a Foxconn number on it (they made most of the AGP slots back then). If all else if me would get a AGP …

GA-7IXE and K7V are here, K7V needs a re-cap at a bare minimum. As it's likely to be the better 'clocker I'm going to focus my time on getting it running before looking at the Gigabyte board. Hopefully get a run in this afternoon/evening. With it having Universal AGP I might be able to run a 6800 …

Very nice! Supposedly the K7v motherboards are easy to mode into the k7v-t boards so it fully supports the thunderbirds.

Turned my attention to overclocking the Ti 500. Added the gpu oc to the screenshot. I think 10K is out of my reach unless the K7V-T can provide the additional 500 points once its fixed.

So before I was having the motherboard control the voltage for the cpu. I set the the jumpers to default and started using my goldfinger to control the voltage instead. This is the result after some tinkering. It still wont go past 119fsb. I am now in 1st on HWBOT for overclocking the Athlon …

Yeah, thats the fun part. We also have to be mindful that newer GPU drivers are expecting faster cpus. The drivers will have more overhead compared to older cards and drives. Have to find the sweet spot. Also make sure you installed the agp miniport driver for your board.
