And a next message. I got couple graphic card, one is Trio64V2/DX. This chip has official no VLB support. I have soldered him to VLB . Yes, VLB Support is removed. (It locks 486 local bus very hard )

Now: I can sell pcb a pcb cost 8 USD and 10$ outside EU, inside EU 5,5$ I have ~10 piece PCB left. Pleas write me a private message, if you're interessing on pcb. Of coruse, only trio64V+ But Virge (325) may run on this PCB with patched ROM and heavy modified virge driver.

Yes, my VirgeVLB Project is based on this STB Powergraph 64v. But Virge, i didn't believe anymore on success. With Trio64V+ is project (use same PCBs ) a big success. Trio64V+ VLB from my draft is very fast, ARK1000VL is slighter faster.

My guess is that it is EISA, since it uses S3 911 chipset with VRAM. All of the OPTi local bus cards I've seen so far use ET4000AX with DRAM. However, this card is not in the TH99 database, so you're taking a gamble plugging into an EISA board unless you know for certain what it is. Did you look up …

I am trying repair this MACH10. China-8086 has short between clock-pin and ground ... otherwise, it look good and i have buying NEC V30 for owner of MACH10. I am hopeful 😀

No, don't bake it. It doesn't help. re-soldering DRAM. You need flux and good solder iron with chisel tip. Only soldering help it. regards matt

Pleas press on DRAM (two below EPROM) and power it -> did change it ? If no -> next step: Press on QFP IC (S3 Chip). Did change it `? It is 100% DRAM Problem , causes damage DRAM or bad solder joint or bent lead. (Your card has many scratch, i wouldn't wondered, if PCB trace is cutted by scratch. ) …

Yes, you remove 8088 from XT and install adapter with cable to 286 accelerator. It accelerate by 286 instead 8088 since you have power it. No special software require. And it can switch back to 8088, if compatiblity issuses is occured. It run not stable, because i have use selfmade cable-socket …

Ok, thanks. It is a bad point of rarely MFM hard disk: No data avaible. hard disk runs really quiet. I am surpised. ST-225 runs like as machine gun.
