You could put a k6 233ANR in it A pentium 200 Or a 200mmx overdrive A winchip 266 But your answer is that you can get whatever socket 5/7/ss7 chip you want in it most of them will need an interposer though. Does anyone have a way to map a delidded k6-2+ down to the thousandth of an inch and diagram it. I was thinking a pcb that had clearances for all the parts and slid on like a puzzle piece

Pull the cards out. Change multiplier setting to 1.5x, move ram sticks to other slots or try different sticks, unplug drive cables, re seat cpu, check power supply voltages, check cpu voltage, and clear cmos.

This may be that missing signal, I forget what it’s called, I think user Rayer? May have made a circuit for this. Basically newer drives dropped a signal that those older boards looked for, but it can be emulated to make the drive work. I’ll tag them. Edit: IOCS16# They’ve been tagged.

Could probably make a pcb project that did this, a shim that replaces the heat spreader. Just glues onto the chip heatsink goes directly on die, or we could solder a heat spreader to the pcb. Anyone have the thickness from the purple ceramic to top of the die?

Yeah, yeah, we know what the label says but the 2.45 mobile pentium is a 2.8v chip, the 1.6v k6-3+ is a 2.0v chip, what is the sxl2.🤔 is it a 3.6 or a 5v At above reply, you should, for science! But also, it would be sad to hurt it. I’m conflicted 🤣
