I wonder if it's due to the firmware in use on those adapters or due to the design of the board. I think they all use the same FC1307 chip, those sintechi adapters, even the SD2CF adapters.

Any chance of publicly spilling the beans on where that resistor is located, and which side to connect, so others who might have the same urge & equipment to attach something up to the LPC interface will have a slightly easier time ? Perhaps a photograph of the main board with a big white X to mark …

Be specific about which versions you actually tried. Post the download links for the specific versions you tried. and how many physical hard drives are in the machine you are trying to take an image of ?

fairly certain that one detects the harddrive and then glabios uses the reported configuration to display the information you're seeing. It should be an easy enough dump using dos debug, it's just an 8K eprom. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can have a look at it and patch it up. Any idea/ …
