Hi! It has esfm and microsoft software based tables But that´s fine for me. I don´t need 100% accurate sound as long as there is sound at all 😀

Well it´s no deal in detecting the card after loading a specific driver for the card. The pcb is very small and only has the CD-Audio header and something that looks like a FDD/IDE header but probably is some kind of expansion port. So i think there are no jumpers to set actually. in DOS i used a …

Your"windows 98" looks suspiciously like Windows XP... although that shouldn't matter for whether sound works. It's possible the card is dead, but more likely that Windows is sending sound to the wrong output (I don't see an HDMI audio device, but "1080p" sounds like something modern) or has …

According to the Data Sheet, the ES1878 connects via ISA. Do you plan on still using the laptop, or will this new machine replace it? Hi, thanks for all the info. I was able to pick up a completely dead 1750 and with the hdd caddy inside, my 1575D installed 98se just fine and everything is working. I was also able to fix the fdd, the drive from the 1750 was working fine after cleaning the heads, so i simply swapped the drives. …
