Shouldn't the 287XL be detected as a 387? No, I prevented that. Although the 287XL is build on a 387 core with its better performance, it is still a 287 FPU in a 287 socket. CHKCPU would indeed detect the 287XL as a 387 but because it runs on a 80286 system, I let CHKCPU display it as a 80287. …
