Finally got win 98se installed. That was not a fun trip but i did learn that there's a massive speed difference between the onboard ide controller of the socket 7 and the Isa card of my socket 3. Like a huge difference.

"Cachechk" and other tools won´t tell you the cacheable RAM size for L1 and L2. You need "ctcm7" for that. But as long as you have only 64 MB RAM populated it will just tell you the cacheable size is 64MB. You´ll have to go for more RAM! In case you don´t have it - here you go: ctcm17a.zip Okay …

I modded the bios in modbin, set the l2 cache to 512, rebooted and it posted. Does that mean that it worked? EDIT: it would be awesome if it worked

Alrighty that's done. The original berg footprint was made assuming it used 2.54 leg spacing but it uses 2.5, so the shape was a little off. I added the ground out like it was before and I updated the values of the resistors to what I said above.

I reprinted the fan mount with an edit and i printed another mount for the upper left hand corner. It may be a bit silly but honestly so few holes lined up that the weight of the VRM heatsinks pushed down enough to make the left side of the board touch the backplate.
