On the earlier rev boards I understand that you need to add an extra tag chip to have enough tag ram to cache the full 512M of ram (along with a coast module). Thanks guys, of the two different combinations I was using, neither one properly supported DMA. I tried a 4GB IDE hard drive and everything is just fine.

Changing my BIOS setting Local Ready Delay Setting = Delay 1T to None has brought my VESA memory speed up to 8512KB/s. drosse1meyer, what do your jumpers look like on your card? On mine there are 2 jumpers (4 pins) and they are soldered in (as BitWrangler mentioned).

Just MIDI through the 15 Pin jack, or the wavetable header on the board. It then outputs through the 1/8" jack on the back or the 4 pin internal header.

I built up a HardMPU-WT today, just waiting for the ATMega1284P. Can't wait to give it a go Anyone interested in a bare PCB? I have a few leftovers. These were quite a bit more expensive than the usual fare, even from JLCPCB. Gold fingers, chambered edges.
