I did some tests on my system and i got to following results. I used a p3 coppermine 1000 and 800 on a via 133pro chipset. I ran 3 games for test. F1 racing simulation for win and tomb raider and whiplash for dos. F1 ran without any issues with 750 mhz @100 FSB, but tomb raider and whiplash crashed …

Hi my question is i run a p3 1000 in normal and downclock it to 500 in v1 usage. Is it a problem if I run the cpu with 1000 mhz using my primary card and v1 in "passiv" mode?

Hi, i have an issue that 3d mark is stuck on the refresh rate of the monitor. I have a radeon 6850 inside and even with deactivated V sync in the catalyst options the system is capping it at the refresh rate. what might be the issue?

The card has 2 scratches at the backside. Nevertheless, the seller accepted a refund, so i will not spent my time one that one.

i was testing only glide, no d3d. but atleast it shouls run somehow on 400, but not lock up on every start.

Since i had more time, I did some tests, because this issue triggerd me. and came to following results. You dont need to slowdown your agp to 2x, atleast not with via 4.35 ( did not try others). the main issue is, you have to install the via drivers before graphics (even win98 has automatically …

which donut demo? on a rightous cd there was the whiplash 3dfx version, this one i managed to run under dos with 3dfx, it doesnt crash, but still has this glitches, so i think the card has some hardware issues I contacted the seller and he is willing to refund me the money. was bit lucky i think BTW …

atm i do not have any dos games, but what i have found out, only with rightous drivers the card clicks atleast when it is trying to switch modes, all other non righteous drivers do not have it With nfs 3 i get following picture And monster truck madness 1, whiplash (fatal racing) and the orchid tool …
