Hey Point of view never produced ATI cards only nvidia as i remember correct . As for your card bga chips wasnt common at 9600 series and only installed in 128mb version. All 256mb variants has TSOP memory modules which operating on slower clocks. Your card seems like oem version .

Hey retro community Im just curious because i never installed DOS in proper way and more likely i will never get a chance to get copy . Maybe only if MS decide to make "remaster " versions as they do with games analogy.

And its more likely HW monitor 99127f or associated elements . as i research lately 39 pin of as99127f is 5vsb detect so if there is 5v not present on this pin = no start . I suggest measure r13 it should be 470 …

I would recommend you riva tnt/tnt2 ,voodoo 1/2 . With celeron you wont get any benefit from more powerfull cards.

What system youre trying install on ? Anyway since its PnP it should configure automaticaly unless there is conflict . As for standart IRQ its 7 or 5 and DMA 1 for SB. Anyway if you got OEM sb100 it might be driver issue.

hey mate, Halo CE and Morrowind is quite demanding games for your build i remember it was not that good on Athlon 1.4GHz with Geforce 3 and 9600PRO after . Was 15-40 fps @1024x768 at high settings.

Hey mate, How did you tried to clean ? Its hard to say what kind of liquid or what cause this . Anyway as C164,163,169 &190 its capacitors and theyre same as C211,210,169 &170 or C54,56, 94&95 . As for C31, C32, C103, C104, C106 its harder cause there is no reapeting elements
