Most common build with geforce 4ti were pentium 4 2.4 ghz with i845 mobo back in a day . For amd I believe it was Barton cpu with nforce2 combo

Most easiest method would be patch original image with achi drivers and use usb with easy2boot as I did not long ago, as I had same issues .

Hey Vogons , Recently i swaped graphics card in my xp rig from hd4890 to hd6850 . Every game i tested so far have hundreds fps but in doom3 i get 6-8 fps in main menu as well as in game . Hey mate cmos located in south bridge and if it fails you have to replace south bridge unfortunately. As for ps/2 keyboard it's winbond super io chip responsable for it.
