Has someone perhaps made PCB of smaller version, but where ISA slot is on the other side? With version from above on my SBC (Vortex86-6071) ISA card would be on the opposite side of the board, and not above it and I'm trying to make small retro PC 👀.

Have you tried burning with IMGBurn? That's my go to application when it comes to creating or burning CD/DVD images. As for mounting, have you tried using Daemon Tools? I remember using Alcohol 120% back in the day, but since Daemon Tools arrived I don't recall using it for image mounting.
