I'd prefer to get the instructions to the point where it's automatable and as simple as titanium. You've used the script right? Now that's simple. Here: doubleclick this. Yeah I used the script. Give it a try. TBF I did integrate the patch so it's possibly that.

It was always glitchy though even 25 years ago. I'm not sure what you're talking about with mw2prm.cfg tbh Crashes on mission load. It's also complaining "error writing career file" prior to that. Possibly an issue with the path? Dunno. mw2pentiumcrash.JPG Your dedication is... next level. …

Isopropyl is the industry standard and strongly preferred method for cleaning all electronics at finishing and repair stages. I'm very confused why you'd say that.

Dgvoodoo worked fine. Some graphical glitches but the game was never perfect to start with. Never touched mw2prm.cfg Pentium wouldn't load full screen or a mission for me. Segfault(equivalent). Well, I'm counting Titanium as a solved problem Would you like to add it the zip to your original post? I've updated the original one I posted it in. Pentium edition doesn't seem stable on mine. If you've got newer fixes I can test it out and update the installer for it.

I've used a warm oven to dry GPUs. ~90C for 10-15 mins. I've also used oil heaters and time, and just plain air and time. No high pressure. But you say it's clean, so let's focus on the controller. Just because it's easy, and it works as 5.25 I'd flash the bios to be sure it's not just some random corruption. I'd probably also chuck it in the dishwasher to rule out weird dust issues but most people baulk at that (no soap if you do it)

Pretty sure you can do it automatically by: 1) creating 3 primary partitions 2) installing dos and then 9x on the first partition 3) installing 2k on the second 4) installing xp on the 3rd I'm unsure if dos will show by default in the resulting menu, but it should be accessible by f8 after you …

Finished all now. I used the 31cc profile as per the installer. I did change some settings here and there, like single core only.

GBL finished. Weird bug on the final level. PPCs wouldn't show, and the hole in the ship was never created automatically. I had to shoot randomly where I vaguely remembered it would be to eventually make it myself. The premise is that your ship does it. Not sure what could cause this.

You could attempt using the sys command. It writes the boot sector, and copies msdos.sys, io.sys, command.com Assuming hdd=c:, cd=d: sys d: c: Should do the trick

Your own guide literally says to copy the files directly from the CD. Which you implied works. How exactly are you changing the first byte of that file in that process?

fc is a windows command dating back to early DOS. It compares 2 files. If it says there are no differences, there are no differences.
