When FAT32 first came out there were unconfirmed reports that it was slower. I doubt you would notice it much though.

Hi Folks, Over at ZZone they have been pretty succssful at getting Z95 to rund under Windows XP. The 95 version is slightly different than the pure DOS version. You can buy it legally from eBay or pearl.de . The Pearl.de version is German but some users can help you get it into any language you want …

For Max Glide compatibility I recommend 2 Voodoo 2s in SLI. It is almost as fast as a Voodoo3 and can be "dumberd down" to a voodoo 1.

I don't have at hand but a nifty little batch file will make your V2 SLI look like a voodoo 1 for must tricky games. EF2000 for example.

Printer port uses and IRQ and can use a DMA which mightr have been the problem.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said I rpimarily do video editing and the extra width is useful but I would prefer not killing my good ol' DOS games. 😀

My 17" CRT monitor is gettinglong in the tooth and I saw that wide screen monitors were very reasonable. I do a lot of video editing so a widescreen would be good, however I am afraid that my legacy games will look funny. Do they have a switch to go to 4:3 like most TVs?
