in some cases, the reason may not be in the keyboard itself, but in the motherboard, in this case cleaning the keyboard or replacing it will not make sense. I had such a case with a Compaq 5100 laptop, only the replacement of the motherboard helped.

Looks like great condition laptop! But I recommend to make offer maximum $60-70. I have Nec Versa SX and very like it. No any information provided about scale, I think supposed to be fine.

This is understandable, but give an example of a game that freezes in the absence of this line? In my experience, most Dos games work fine without this line. I choose a sound card through the game setup.
