On a scale of 1 - 10. Minus 6? I had 1. I really never did anything with it, was kind of new/ob. I just noticed capacitors falling off one day. I may need to replace a socket 462 motherboard. What's been your experiemce?

I like the blue underbelly. The white seems questionable. But it looks nice. I have 2 xbox consoles (and a 360). I know they gatting a linux/windows upgrade. As far as externals, well I really want to go translucent. They were selling those some time ago. I won't pay 60 bucks per though.

Car phones? Did Sweden have widespread use of portable, albeit humongous handheld cell phones in the 80s?? Nokia is Swedish right? I doubt I've ever seen a large stand alone cell phone, until I had my first in late 1999. Yes, to many people they seem to do double duty as therapy dogs.

That definitely does the trick. Only 1 horrid little asic in the 1. Perhaps not enougj to be a deal breaker. I've been holding on to this pristine epson keyboard. Wondering if I should go ahead and buy a cpu. Many thanks.

Wanting to know if the 1 uses asivs at all. I know the 1+ does. By comparison ibm 5150/5160 mobos don't use any. Just Intel and 7400 chips and ram/rom. An actual photo of a 1 mobo would be super nice.

But again the smaller the crt the sharper the image. That's been my experience (and I've many many monitors of all sizes). We weren't talking about mono or color but size. I spared a floppy disk from being bent up anymore then it was. The data on the disk isn't salvageaable. That is whatever could be gotten off of it already has. So said a floppu disk " expert". Also, you always can replace a CRT with LCD. Clarity wouldn't likely be an issue as smaller crts have sharper details. The size.of the tube or lcd is an issue. They did studies back in the 80s and it was determined that eye strain - having to focus on a condensed image was a detriment to …
