He can't, because the port on the back of the X-Fi cards is not a Joystick/MIDI port. It's something else but I don't remember what exactly at the moment.

Plus there is no file you can download that will make Thrill Drive work. The driver is still in a preliminary state and the game is unplayable.

Carmageddon II played great on my old Pentium II 350 with 16MB TNT1 video. I never got to play the original Carmageddon on that PC. a friend of mine had IIRC a Pentium II 233 with a TNT2 Ultra, Carmageddon II ran fine on that as well.

pSX uses a 24/32bit buffer. Voodoo Banshee won't ever do this in hardware. I don't think that's why. If that was the reason, pSX wouldn't be working on Intel 810 video. Also, pSX is an "accuracy" emulator. It is also quite CPU taxing, you'll need something of a AthlonXP 3000+ to play on it at a …

@StickByDos A 'fast' video card won't help. pSX doesn't use your video card like ePSXe does. It only uses 3D acceleration to draw the final output to the screen.
