32-bit Windows 7 still includes the 16-bit DOS-like subsystem. On 64-bit Windows 7, it is not available. To run 16-bit apps, you can either use software like DOSBox or some other emulation/virtualisation software, including Windows 7's XP mode.

No, it isn't. DOSBox is intended to play DOS games. DOS itself had no USB support and any USB devices that are useful now (storage, mouse, keyboard, joystick and sound) are usable through the host operating system anyway. Printers are not used by games anyway, but h-a-l's build makes it possible.

No. I think printing is possible using h-a-l-9000's MegaBuild (http://home.arcor.de/h-a-l-9000/index.html), although I've never tried that myself. Generic USB support doesn't exist in DOSBox.

Do you mean Prince of Persia? Ctrl-S toggles sound. What does this have to do with DOSBox though? If you want to disable all sound in DOSBox, you can use "nosound=true" in the [mixer] section of the configuration file.

This has been asked a gazillion times before. The answer can be found by searching the forums and there's also lots of stuff in the readme and config file. Hint: it's not the core/cputype/cycles that have any impact on this, it's stuff like output/fullresolution etc.

amfm, the font is what it is because it emulates a real CGA/EGA/VGA card's font. Changing it to something else, especially a truetype font would not strictly be compatible to those cards, which would defeat the purpose of the emulation. And remember to do a rescan (by typing that on the command line or by pressing Ctrl-F4) after inserting a new floppy. Otherwise DOSBox may still think the old floppy is in the drive.
