!IMPORTANT! If you flash this bios - after flashing, during first boot press f2 in videoadapter screen - this save default settings in cmos (yes, this bios save their setting in cmos like mb bios). After that you may "play" with tweak settings.

Ofcourse i know about source ports and zdaemon/skulltag servers. And chocolate-doom too. I mean multiplayer in vanilla doom (original dos .exe) with tcp/ip over internet. Current classic doom community not in my interests anymore. He moving in wrong direction in my opinion. And i back to oldskool …

These chips exist on many old S3 videocards (Trio/Virge) and may easily pulled from socket (not soldered).

What do you mean with DB? Daughterboard connector? Then... Of course DB60XG (or DB50XG, DB51XG - in native GM mode used in dos games all these cards sounds identical) Look for your Turtle Beach DB - whats your model? I have TB Rio - superior sound! Many games look for GUS only on IRQ7. It is strictly recommended use GUS on IRQ7. Second variant is use IRQ11 but IRQ7 is much better and bugless.

Do you have joystick/gamepad hooked to sb gameport? I heard that may be problem with sb mpu401 port sometimes when joystick is plugged.
