And of course canadacow expected some support in developement. At least he knows that he is on his own now and doesn't have to wonder whether to ask them for support or not... 🙁

I think Quake needs Pentium instructions. I am not sure whether DOSBox emulates Pentium instructions.

Well.. dosbox is for games. So if you don't have any games using gus for midi, why bother? 😉 But I can say that midi music is ok in games. The only problem is that it is too slow with some games - Dark Forces for example.

i see i haven't checked it thoroughly: indy Cd and dott CD voice/sound were fixed in 22 march cvs. but soundblaster music still wasn't fixed with both games (gmidi, roland, speaker music works)

What's your computer? Do you have any onboard audio/joystick port? Isn't there any conflict?

Roland MPU-401 driver is usefull only if you have inserted Roland mpu-401 card to your computer. I suppose you have connected cm-32l to a joystick port on your soundcard. So all drivers should be already installed together with your soundcard's drivers. You just have to go to Control Panel. …

you should also download older aweutil 1.20 awe32's mt32 emulation will not always work (in most cases it doesn't 😉 ) And even if it work it will not sound correctly in most cases 😉

If you talk about cd version of indiana jones... so sound blaster got broken in dosboxcvs 7 march 2004 when new soundblaster settings were introduced to dosbox and sound blaster doesn't work since that time with indiana cd version.

the problem with monkey island 2 with sound blaster (monkey2 s) that it plays for a while and then there is a silence, playes, silence... was solved in most recent dosboxcvs. (it was a problem with many games)

You have to spcecify a card in indiana jones 4 and in monkey island 2 (i think in every old lucasarts adventure) atlantis s altantis a atlantis r If you don't it will be randomly chosen from what is possible. You can also type: atlantis h to get all the commands

Are you sure you have music in game? Cause i have music only in setup and intro. I have no music in menu and in game. In real dos with real sound cards everything is ok.

MK works ok with Roland in DOSBox 0.60, 0.61, and all CVSes.
