Last time I used QEMU for Windows it was utterly user-unfriendly. Talk about DOSBox being hard to get into.

MWSnap Freeware and it doesn't require installation. Has the author have anything in common with our Mirek? I hope just a name coincidence... 😁

I have heard that latest Macintosh are built using Intel processors (X86/64 architecture).

Thank you. Nah, I don't need to download anything. I was just making some sort of cross-reference along mobygames regarding running a game that I didn't know using DOSBox. I am sure Underdogs will come up and running again soon (I hope).

Kizvel: If seems your Elvira comes compressed somehow. You may need to decompress it first. I would recommend you trying to run install.exe under plain WinXP NTVDM (cmd.exe). After that, if it's decompressed succesfully, you can give DOSBox a try.

Works fine for me under official DOSBox 0.63 and EVEN BETTER under 0.65rc2 - Did you run setup.exe first?

Use an utility like WinISO or UltraISO. Or you could use Nero Burning ROM to generate a NRG image (Don't know if it will serve to our purpose, though).

Do you know what video format is used? Also, maybe you need to specify additional command-line parameters for the cd mounting statement. Also, have you tried making a CUE/BIN image from CD?
