exactly, also pricewise: noone cares what a rocket the p2 was on release day as no sane person spends that kind of money; in the sane pricerange amd was offering more power for the same money and therefore was ahead;

Hopefully Matrox fixes AMD's multimonitor support, for whatever reason AMD sucks down an ungodly amount of watts when using more than one monitor.

Yea and I have seen a few of their newer AMD based cards pop up on eBay, the only difference is that they are gimped performance wise (cheaper gddr3) and that there could be some improvements on image quality.
