There's no real difference between 1.6v and 2.0v versions, former is just confirmed to work with lowered voltage and latter might not.

Indeed; for what is certain in this world? What is certain: 400mhz is the only K6-3+ CPU with such low voltage and starting from 500 mhz all stepping are strictly 2 volt.

You are save, when using PSU's with 30A on the 5V rail. Good VGA cards for your 1GHz Athlon are: Geforce 2, 3 and 4 series. For your 3000+, the 4 series and 5 series and 6 series are good to go. Besides VIA KT266A or KT333 there is another option for socket 462 - SiS 745. Performance is very similar and most if not all boards should be 3.3V AGP compatible.

Cool, I didnt' release that some of the turbochips had PGA CPUs. I am pretty sure you can remove the CPU from the VRM. I recommend you peel the existing fan off the CPU and get a standard 486 heatsink/fan combo for it.

ADW has lesser thermal threshold compared to ADZ. It's more picky when it comes to operating temperature and probably won't work stable with passive cooling.
