KX133 chipset supports SDRAM Bank Interleaving, has potential to work a little faster with two modules. https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/kx133-kt … y-tweak.423179/ worked great on KT133, but I seem to remember problems on slot A platforms at the time.

Yes, the performance is much better. Wpcredit is a good tool,. At here, you can enable it, if the bios doesen't let you enable this feature.

Tried a lot of different drivers. The fastest I tried so far is the detonator 12.41 I even tried a pair of 12mb voodoo2 in SLI. I got 82fps in Quake3 and 122fps in quake2 with the voodoo2 cards. Not bad at all.

The regular 485DX5-133 (=5x86-PR75) isn't particularly hard to come by, particularly not when compared to the Cyrix 5x86-133, but an ES is quite special. Don't think it will give you any advantages when running, so you are probably best off letting a collector enjoy this and using a normal one for …

Be careful to the small capacitor between the cpu-cooler and the ram sockets, directly under the fan header. It is looking even worse than the other's what i can see on your pictures. It's worth to replace it. 😉

Very nice. I've never seen a 1Ghz Slot A T-Bird in person though I do have a couple 900Mhz ones that I rescued from being thrown out over 10 years ago.

I think it uses a ASUS branded HP OEM micro ATX board with a SiS chipset, i got one from ebay but it was DoA, was dead as a doornail, broken traces everywhere on the back, had to get a refund from seller.
