I used a minimal setup, just getting scores without any sound etc. installed. The really high scores can only be gotten by using a geforce2/3 with earliest drivers as possible. I would really like to exchange the chip on my Jetway 542C (Aladdin V, Rev. G) to see whether it works or not. This information should be mentioned in the data sheet of these chips. There is no reason keeping external tag sram active. Chipset can handle 2 gigs. Where does your information come from and how has the chipset to be configured for this? Stage 2. Latest beta BIOS from Asus P5A-B was flashed. UDMA66 works. But, I can not find the settings on 8/10 bit TAG SRAM mode.
