I had one of those Compaq's from the last picture. Whit an Pentium Overdrive 83Mhz in it.... And I thrown it away, years ago.

My first CD-Rom drive was from Wearnes. And the list of CD-Rom drives is not complete as I noticed. I used to have the CDD-110, a double speed cd-rom drive whit it's own ISA interface card. Funny thing was that you simply could pull the cd-tray out by hand, because the tray had a little curvature.

Compaq Presario 7220 for $30 inc shippment. Pentium 100mhz whit 16mb ram. Owner was going to throw it out since he couldnt install os on it, it was way to clean to pass that out 😀

Did you reset the bios via the bios itself or whit the jumper? And did you tried another power supply? Do you hear any peep codes?

And I have a Dell 2000fp (the older one whit the big border around the screen). Good is that it has 1600x1200 native resolution, so 800x600 looks sharp as a bitch. Also 320x240 (1600x1200 divided by 5) looks amazing.

70 Degrees is fine... in Fahrenheit... 😁 No but Celsius is a little high indeed. I own a Q6600 @ 3 ghz and it does 45-50 under full load, whit a Scythe Mugen cooler on it. Cool and Quiet is my motto. And Windows Vista... 🤐 I skipped it totally.
