Anything around a Geforce 3 should do. What resolution do you plan on playing on?

64 MB is the standard around that period. Alternatives are the Ati 8500 or even 9000, and a cheaper alternative is the Geforce 4MX440. If you find a reasonably priced Geforce 4 4200 or up, that would even be better. So you're spoilt for choice.

GeForce 4 Ti4200 if you want the best possible performance for the most reasonable price. That said, I don't think the CPU will cut it for Soldier of Fortune, which was a 2000 game and struggled on old hardware at launch.

A PIII 1.0 Ghz exceeds the recommended system requirements. Coupled with a ti4200 or similar, it should provide a fluid experience, especially at the TS' resolutions.

SOF 2 is a dog of a game, badly optimized CPU/GPU hog.
