I am two episodes in and right now and I want to like the show but I don't know if I will stick with it. The acting, directing, sets and costumes all seem fine. At times they are even really good. The thing that keeps letting me down is the writing. There is a lot of wtf moments where I have no idea …

watching just the first 2 episodes will make it weird, it gets better after that and makes more sense once you've watched all 8.

Those maps are overly simplified. They are supposed to illustrate the Hussite Wars, but there's no Bohemia on them? Really? I would prefer something like this - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/common … ull_of_1356.png - only updated by several decades.
