Just finished downloading it. I had already finished the game before the enhanced version came out, but played the Price of Neutrality mod. This update includes 5 more mods, hopefully longer than the PoN mod.

I will add that the novel is set before the events in the game. And short stories are set before the novel.

I didn't know anything about Andrej Sapkowski's works until buying the game, so I would say it doesn't hurt (that you don't read the books first), but reading them wouldn't hurt. 🤣 I am waiting for the collector's edition as well... it is only fitting to get this after I got the witcher1 collector edition back then.... /self-brag=OFF 🤣 I even upgraded my gpu for this, got a 560ti oc. edition from gigabyte 😁

Only a few hours in but I give it 2 thumbs up. Geralt is a lot more likable in this one, and the open world is masterfully done.

I've played slowly for about 3 hrs, still at the very beginning though... the game is very nice! People that like rpgs like Skyrim should really get this.
