Louis Cat Orze: The Mystery of the Queens Necklace
Hrmm. A return to when "MultiMedia" was the new buzzword. Has traditional weaknesses of those early "multi-media" titles, but not nearly as bad as others. Limited interactibility, 256 colors isn't quite enough, slightly silly premise.
Still, there's a hint of history and it doesn't always take itself seriously (good thing with a talking cat). So I can say that this is the best talking-cat-with-a-silly-fake-French-accent adventure...so far.
Downside? Audio (streamed from the CD) loses synch with the video too easily.
<Mac Advantages> At least you don't have to mess with making the Windows version work.
