Since there is a small group of people that regularly plays PS2 games through XLink Kai, particularly Timesplitters: Future Perfect, I figured I'd throw this in here. If some forum members have a PS2 (and the game too, preferably 🤣) and want to give it a shot, there is a weekly game going on every Saturday at 6PM EST (UTC-5).
I used to love that game! I'll have to get a PS2 copy of it though, along with a network-capable PS2. 🤣
I had the Gamecube version for the longest time, but had to get the PS2 one when I heard that it's still being played and works for all regions. 😀 It even allows custom maps, which is quite impressive for a console.
Like actual custom maps, or just the ones made with the built-in editor? I never used it on TS3, though I did play around with the one on TS2. It was fairly limited, but cool nonetheless.
No, just the editor. You can't expect UT-quality maps from that 😉 but those maps can be fun nonetheless.
