I have a stragne issue with my Mega Drive II / Mega CD II.

I have everything connected as it should be, with the video cable going from the Mega Drive to a TV using SCART and both power adaptors connected.

The issue is this, when I have a Mega CD game inserted everything works fine, the game plays, everyone's happy, but if I then take out the CD game to play a Mega Drive game (cart) the Mega Drive does not work, just a black screen.

But... if I unplug the Mega CD and then start up the Mega Drive, it works fine. Is this normal?

It seems to be working now, very odd, when I did the unplugging the Mega CD trick, the next time I tried it (with Mega CD plugged in) the issue resolved itself.

Spooky 😮

Now try adding a 32X in the loop 😉
I had the full setup at some point, it was kind of fun 😁

I bought a Sega 32X recently but the guy hasn't sent me any of the cables - just the power supply and the manual.

...the only setup that requires its own dedicated power strip. 😁

More like two, since the power supplies are massive 😵
